This episode features some of the most diverse Veg-themed festivals in North American (and the world).
Sandra McPeake, an organizer of Veg Fest Vancouver, speaks to us about what’s on the agenda for Vancouver’s event on Saturday, July 26th, 2014. Then we are joined by Jamey Scott, founder of the Texas Veggie Fair and the voice behind DallasVegan.com. Jamey tells us about vegan corndogs, working with Whole Foods and what it’s like to live in the most vegan-friendly piece of cattle country on Earth. We close the show with an interview with Peter McQueen. Peter is a director of the Toronto Vegetarian Association and he talks to us about the history of Toronto’s upcoming 30th annual Veg Food Fest, which attracts over 40,000 people each year.
