Dr. Faisal Moola is the Program Director of Terrestrial Conservation and Science at the David Suzuki Foundation. The David Suzuki Foundation’s mission is to protect the diversity of nature and one issue that the organization is focussing on is the annual BC Grizzly Bear Trophy Hunt, which started here in British Columbia last week.
Michael Weber, FARM (Farm Animal Rights Movement): Great American Meat Out & Vegan Earth Day
Michael Weber is the Campaign Co-ordinator for the organization FARM – a nonprofit, public-interest organization in the United States promoting vegan, plant-based diets to save animals, protect the environment, and improve health.
In this interview, Michael tells us about the upcoming Vegan Earth Day celebrations taking place all over North America to raise awareness about the connection between climate change and animal agriculture. He’ll also spoke about the recent controversy that followed when Governor Jennifer Granholm declared Meat Out Day in Michigan.
