Animal Voices is Western Canada’s only radio program dedicated solely to animal advocacy and compassionate living.
Each week we delve into various issues ranging from agriculture, vivisection, and fashion, to the “pet” industry, conservation, intersections between animal liberation and other social justice issues, and the vegan lifestyle.
We offer diverse programming featuring:
- interviews with activists, authors, rescuers, lawyers, scientists, and experts who are at the forefront of animal defense and vegan outreach,
- tips on making cruelty-free choices, and
- animal-related news & events from around BC and beyond.
The program is broadcast live every Friday from noon to 1:00 PM PST. Catch us on the airwaves at 100.5 FM around Metro Vancouver, and streaming via Co-op Radio. You can listen to the podcast of the show on our blog, and on iTunes (subscribe now), as well as in the Archive section of the Vancouver Co-op Radio website.
Animal Voices has been airing since 2001. The show is run by a consensus-based collective of volunteers.
We do need your ongoing support to keep our program on the air. If you value the countless hours of work that we put in to make this show happen on a weekly basis and to give these voices a platform, then please become a member of Co-op Radio now for any amount.
