Shocking Updates on the Vancouver Aquarium with local activist David Isbister

For our first interview, we have local activist and anti-animal captivity campaigner David Isbister with us on the show.  As a long-time animal advocate, an investigator for the animals, and formerly an insider working in the exotic pet trade for 7 years, David uses his experience to work for the freedoms of animals kept imprisoned for the purposes of human entertainment. In 2017, David was largely instrumental in moving forward the law to pass that effectively banned the captivity of whales and dolphins at the Vancouver Aquarium.

The Vancouver Aquarium has recently sold the aquarium to an entertainment for-profit conglomerate, called Herschend Enterprises, that is already seasoned in exploiting animals to turn profits. In this interview, David exposes and explains VanAqua’s history and the hidden info about how this new deal may (or will) unfold that is certainly a shocker.
