Dolphins in Japan Show

In preparation for the Japan Dolphins Day, which takes place on Saturday, August 31, we have the organizer from Vancouver’s event, Mel Tran, speak with us about the horrific slaughter and capture of over 20, 000 dolphins that takes place each year from September to May in Taiji. Along with this massive slaughter, a select few “most attractive” dolphins are also selected during this hunt to be kept alive for marine parks and aquariums all over the world, such as the Vancouver Aquarium.
