Turtle Valley Donkey Refuge in BC… and Eating Vegan in Vegas!

Here’s this week’s show:

Today kicks off the Spring Member Drive. Between now and April 26th we are asking you, our beloved supporter, to reach out and show us some love.

It’s time to become a member of Co-op Radio to show your appreciation of the countless hours that the hosts and producers dedicate to making the show run smoothly week after week. When you call 604-684-8494 or visit www.CoopRadio.org to become a member of Co-op Radio, a registered Canadian charity, make sure to mention Animal Voices so that your contribution can be counted towards our seasonal goal!

When you donate before April 26th you are entered to win one of 6 great prizes (winners will be contacted by June 1st).

Eating Vegan in Vegas
For Animals… For Health… For the Planet

Jenni sends us a post direct from her visit to Las Vegas, Nevada. She had the pleasure of sitting down with Paul Graham who’s been running the popular blog Eating Vegan in Vegas for the last few years and he’s just released an e-book! Paul grounds his food adventures in a deep respect for the earth, and the creatures who inhabit it.

Sounds of Compassion

On today’s show Alison looks back and remembers some of her favourite guests over the last few years and you may notice a lovely song in the background. It’s Dr. Will Tuttle’s song Our Fellow Mortals. Will Tuttle is the author of  The World Peace Diet: Eating For Spiritual Health and Social Harmony, and we were very pleased to speak with him previously on Animal Voices.
